Single-Entry Mechanism Serves Over 600,000 Citizens in November, Generating $3 Million in Revenue

Phnom Penh: The capital-provincial single-entry unit provided services to more than 600,000 citizens throughout November, as reported by Dr. Touch Sokha, deputy spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior. The administrative sector led the way, delivering nearly 20,000 services, while the agriculture, forestry, and fisheries sectors followed with over 10,000 services. The culture and fine arts sector provided the least, with just four services.

Dr. Touch Sokha noted that the single-entry units generated a total revenue of over 12 billion riels, equivalent to approximately $3 million. The land management, urban planning, and construction sectors accounted for the largest share of this revenue, bringing in more than 10 billion riels, while public works and transportation contributed over 1 billion riels. The cultural sector generated the least, with revenue of 800,000 riels.

In addition to the provincial offices, city, district, and khan single-entry offices processed more than 300,000 services in November. Within 17 sectors, civil registration provided the most services at nearly 200,000, followed by legalization services at 100,000, and the agricultural sector with only 19 services.

The one-stop service mechanism for cities, districts, and khans generated approximately 680 million riels, or about $170,000. The land sector led in revenue, accumulating 160 million riels, while the construction sector followed with 152 million riels. The mining and energy sector earned the lowest, with only 5 million riels, while several sectors, including trade, cult and religion, environment, and civil registry, reported no revenue.

The one-stop service mechanism has been well-received by citizens, meeting their daily administrative needs effectively. The Royal Government of Cambodia, under the leadership of Prime Minister Hun Manet, remains focused on enhancing public service quality, embodying the vision of "Make it fast, make it easy; if there is a problem, ask for principles." His Excellency Dr. Sar Sokha, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Ministry of Interior, continues to prioritize policies responsive to the needs of the people, reflecting the vision of "Everything to provide warmth to the people."
